Blessing of the Backpacks

On August 10, 2025 we had "Blessing of the Backpacks" during children's moment. Everyone from daycare to college and teachers were asked to bring their backpack to church to receive a blessing for the upcoming school year. It's a way to acknowledge the importance of learning, offer encouragement, and express support for students, teachers, and the entire school community.

Vacation Bible School

VBS was held July 7 - 10, 2025. We had a great time and the kids were so excited to return each day. Thank you to all that helped with VBS.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped out by supplying cookies, helping in the kitchen, providing meals and working with the children. All of you played such a huge part in our VBS success this year. I was so very concerned at first with only having a 2 week time frame to prepare everything and no kids registered, but we truly are a TEAM here at Friedens. I think back to Pastor Eric’s sermon last Sunday where he made the comment “this is above us” and I know that is where the success came from ultimately. We had 17 participants!!!!
